Our development capabilities include Medium Voltage switchgears (AIS, GIS & RMU) product conceptualisation, detail engineering, simulations, prototyping, validation & type testing & pilot lot development, factory layout design for mass production of switchgears.
We are a team of highly skilled & experienced engineers in the field of Medium Voltage Switchgear product development. Expertise available for delivering designs upto 50kA 4200A single & double busbar switchgears system upto 40.5kV according to IEC standards.
We have a proven track record of 23 new products with 98 variants in Indoor as well as Outdoor products of Medium Voltage Air Insulated (AIS), Gas Insulated (GIS) & Ring Main Unit (RMU) type Switchgears with 12 patents filed so far.
We could design & develop solutions for retrofit applications including, but not limited to, replacing old oil circuit breakers with Vacuum Circuit breakers, converting open door switchgears to motorised closed door switchgear operation etc. providing the operator safety & ease of operations & adherence to latest standards.
We also help companies by providing consultancy for existing products for improvements. Apart from improvement of existing product. We help companies in building variants for existing products.
Apart from above service, we are capable of providing expert technical review service for their MV new product developments. This service generally includes

- Design reviews with respect to market requirements
- Validation of prototypes and providing improvement for higher succes rate in type tests
- Support for type test actions and improvements
- Future path for life cycle of nuew product development
We also undertake health checks for existing installed switchgears and propose retrofitting and improvements for safety aspects to operators and switchgears.
OTHER SERVICES
We are also able to supply 11KV AIS Switchgears ( sub cubicle assembly without electricals) through a licensing agreement which is already in place with a reputable Kuwaiti company , wherein, KA was the sole technology provider commencing from design to final successful type testing and documentation.
We through our business associates are also able to supply Low Voltage MSB ,Sub Switchboards , Wall / Floor mounting distribution boards,Capacitor banl panels, Marshalling panels , Relay and Control panels, etc.
We are also involved in trading activities for electrical spares parts, cables and accessories.
